Mobile Reader Edge is designed to be simple to install, so locksmith can connect it to an electrified door strike, mortise lock, or mag-lock, using low voltage power supply.

01Install electrified lock equipment
Install an electrified strike, mortise lock, or electromagnetic lock if the door doesn’t already have one.
02Install the reader
Feed the reader cables through the wall and secure the reader to the wall-mounted bracket.
03Attach cables to the relay switch
Feed the cables for the electrified lock, reader, and 12V power supply through the wall and attach to the cables on the relay.
04Install the relay switch
Attach the mounting bracket to the wall and secure the relay switch to the bracket.
05It’s ready to go
Now your employees, contractors, and visitors can access the door using their VationX-enabled smartphone or watch.
